On Wednesday afternoon, the police undertook a greater intervention in the Gare district to focus on drug-related crime.

Police officials with dogs scoured through Rue de Strasbourg, Rue de Hollerich, and Rue de Fonderie. Twenty people were examined, seven of them had to accompany the officials to the police office where further inquiries were made.

During the examinations, some people were caught in possession of small quantities of drugs.
