The recently published National Insurance Centre (CCSS) annual report reviews the Grand Duchy's social contributions in 2023.

The CCSS report reveals that contributions rose from €7.4 to €8.1 billion last year. The authors of the report attribute this increase to wage indexation.

Luxembourg has nearly half a million employees and just under 30,000 self-employed individuals.

Over the past year, there were at least 11 million salary declarations, which equates to about 100,000 monthly invoices.
