The municipality of Wormeldange has announced details for the funeral of Max Hengel, the late mayor and MP who passed away at the age of 47 following a prolonged illness.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, 30 August, at 3pm in the church in Wormeldange. Due to limited seating inside the church, an audio transmission of the service will be provided outside the church for those unable to enter.
Following the service, attendees are invited to a moment of remembrance for Max Hengel at the Wormeldange Cultural Centre, where they can also sign the remembrance book. Those wishing to express their condolences with flowers are asked to have them delivered to the church by Thursday.

For visitors arriving by car, shuttle buses will operate from 2pm, transporting people between the Park & Ride (P&R) locations at "Schoulsyndikat Billek Dräibuer" and "Centre Socio Éducatif de l’État Dräibuer," and the church. Buses will run continuously from 2pm to 6.30pm, and will also provide transport between the Cultural Centre, a temporary bus stop at house number 144, Rue Principale, and the P&R locations. The municipality requests that attendees use the shuttles and avoid parking within the village.
