A confrontation between teenagers in the Avenue Monterey area escalated on Monday afternoon when a man threatened a teenager with a knife, leading to his arrest.

On Monday afternoon, in the area of Avenue Monterey in the city, a man threatened a teenager with a knife. The police were alerted around 5pm.

According to reports, the situation started as an argument between several teenagers which began when one teenager allegedly spat on another, leading the targeted individual to retaliate by striking back with a belt.

A man and a woman who witnessed the scene intervened to assist the victim and attempted to confront the other teenager. This intervention quickly spiraled into a more serious confrontation, during which the man pulled out a knife

A security officer on site acted swiftly, restraining the man until the police arrived. All individuals involved were subsequently taken to the police station for questioning, and the knife was confiscated.
