The municipality of Junglinster launched an appeal for witnesses due to vandalism after discovering major water damage in a newly constructed residential complex.

In a Facebook post, the municipality writes that unauthorised persons gained access to the new ‘Fagus’ residential complex in Junglinster during the night from Wednesday to Thursday (21 - 22 August) and caused extensive water damage.

As a result, the flats, which were almost finished, will not be habitable for some time, the post explains.

Anyone who witnessed anything unusual in the center of Junglinster between Wednesday night and 6am on Thursday is urged to contact the police.
