The emergency services were deployed across the country on Friday afternoon in order to deal with multiple incidents.

At 2.40pm, two cars collided on the A1 between the Irrgarten roundabout and the Howald tunnel.

Shortly after 3pm, a motorcyclist took a tumble near Mompach. At around the same time, two vehicles collided on the N17 between Gilsdorf and Bleesbréck.

At 3.45pm there was another crash involving two cars on the N10 between Grundhof and Dillingen.

Each incident left one person with injuries apiece.
