Between 2am and 4am on Tuesday, police conducted a large-scale alcohol check in Mondorf-les-Bains at the request of the public prosecutor's office.

During the operation, 202 drivers were subjected to alcohol tests. 14 drivers were fined for exceeding the legal alcohol limit, and six had their licences revoked on the spot.

In addition to alcohol-related offences, other violations were discovered. One driver refused a blood test for drug use, resulting in the immediate confiscation of their licence.

Additionally, two drivers lacked a valid technical inspection certificate for their vehicles, and two others were unable to provide proof of insurance.
