Pedestrian killed in car accident in Putscheid

According to the police, the incident occurred as the man, a resident of northern Luxembourg, was walking towards a parking lot on Veinerstrooss. For reasons yet to be determined, he fell and was subsequently struck by a vehicle. The unfortunate incident resulted in his immediate death at the scene.

Despite medical care by emergency services, efforts to save his life proved unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police have launched a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident. An autopsy is scheduled to be conducted.
