Emergency services report a series of overnight accidents that left three people injured, including a motorcyclist who hit a dear near Bettembourg.
At 7.27pm on Saturday, emergency medical services were called to the CR186 between Bettembourg and Kockelsheuer after a motorcyclist hit a deer, leaving the motorcyclist injured. Emergency services from Bettembourg and firefighters from Luxembourg City were also on the scene.
At 8pm, a pedestrian was hit by a car on the Rue de la Gare in Remich. Apart from a fright, the pedestrian was unharmed. An ambulance and firefighters from Remich were on the scene.
At 1.22am on Sunday, a car crashed into a wall on Rue Clairefontaine in Gilsdorf. Two people were injured in the accident and rescue services from Nordstad and Bettendorf were despatched to the scene.
Shortly after at 1.30am, a car caught on fire on Rue Jean Schaak in Bonnevoie. No person was injured and firefighters from Luxembourg City extinguished the flames.
