In a series of overnight traffic stops, police revoked the licenses of two motorists for drink driving and apprehended a lorry driver for dangerous driving behaviour, though the latter tested negative for alcohol.

Shortly before midnight, police stopped a motorist on the motorway after spotting him driving in zigzags without headlights. Aside from the driver, who had his license revoked after a positive alcohol test, the vehicle was also carrying four adult passengers, as well as two small children without adequate seats.

Another drink driver was stopped after a brief chase from Niederkorn to Differdange. The man tested positive for alcohol and had his license revoked as a consequence.

Police also stopped a lorry driver at around 9am on Sunday after he displayed dangerous driving behaviour on the A1 motorway. However, the man's alcohol test was negative.
