The police confirmed the event, which occurred on Monday, to our colleagues from RTL.lu on Thursday evening.

According to the police, an individual was reported on Rue Giselbert in Merl, close to Campus Geesseknäppchen, where several schools are located. The suspect allegedly approached an underage girl and grabbed her by the arm.

The commotion quickly attracted the attention of passers-by, prompting the suspect to flee on foot.

The victim was not injured. The Public Prosecutor's Office has been notified, and an investigation is underway, although the incident has so far not been mentioned in official police bulletins.

A warning to parents began circulating on social media, describing an "alarming incident" involving underage students at Campus Geesseknäppchen. The message urged parents to discuss the matter with their children and advise them not to walk alone outside of school premises.

The social media post also alleges that an individual in a car with French number plates attempted to kidnap two young girls, though this claim has yet to be confirmed by authorities.
