A special rose was planted at Munsbach Castle on Monday afternoon in honour of the hereditary Grand Ducal couple's second son.
The white rose was especially cultivated for little Prince François, born to Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie in 2023.
The young guest of honour, who turned one in March, was accompanied by his parents to the ceremony on Monday, and was also able to enjoy stunning views of the castle gardens in the June sunshine.
Luxembourg's Association of Friends of the Rose often breeds new varieties of rose for members of the royal family.
