Students at Saint Sophie private school eagerly awaited the arrival of Margareta, Custodian of the Crown of Romania.

Margareta has led the House of Romania since her father's death in 2017. Although she holds the title and engages in charitable work for the Romanian people, it is important to note that Romania abolished its monarchy in 1947.

Margareta's visit lasted about an hour. She was welcomed by a young pupil with Romanian roots before proceeding to the ballroom, where students recited poetry and performed music.

After the performances, Margareta addressed the Romanian students and their parents, who had been invited to this special event. She then toured the rest of the school. On her way out, she noticed a group of students on break waving goodbye and stopped to talk to them.

In addition to her school visit, Margareta and Prince Radu held a conference at the Pierre Werner Institute on Tuesday.
