20-year-old Luxembourger Emma Sorgato has triumphed in 'The Voice Belgium', beating stiff competition with memorable performances, including a finale throwback to her audition song, ABBA's 'Money Money Money'.

Flaxweiler resident Emma Sorgato competed in the final of 'The Voice Belgium' on Tuesday, performing 'Aimée Pour De Vrai' alongside Héléna Bailly of Star Academy 2023, before going on to sing a Eurythmics mash-up of 'Here Comes the Rain Again' and 'Sweet Dreams'. Sorgato successfully saw off competition from fellow acts Alexandre and Clément in the first round of voting, proceeding to the final two alongside singer Alyah.

Emma's final performance of the night was a throwback to her live audition in March when she sang ABBA's 'Money Money Money'. After both acts finished their performances, it was time to wait for the public vote.

And only a short time later, the results were official: Emma Sorgato was declared the winner of The Voice Belgium.

The young Luxembourger recently told RTL she was motivated by the public support during her performances. She was mentored by BJ Scott on the show and has already been invited to join her in concert at Spirit 66 in Verviers on 29 June.
