The Ministry of Defence confirmed Luxembourg had collaborated with Belgium and the Netherlands as part of the continued military assistance to Ukraine.

Luxembourg has contributed 2 million euros to the Czech initiative to continue buying ammunition outside the EU to the benefit of Ukraine.  Outside of the scope of the Czech initiative, 11,450 rounds of artillery ammunition (155mm) have already been purchased and delivered. In early March, the Ministry of Defence reported that 6,000 rounds of artillery ammunition had been delivered to Ukrainian forces. The amount has since virtually doubled in the meantime, while further purchases and deliveries are planned.

The government's budget proposal for the year 2024 foresees a minimum of 70 million euros in military support for Ukraine, according to a statement published by the Ministry of Defence.

The administrative details are still to be defined.
