On Saturday, two groups of protestors gathered in Luxembourg City to call for a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of hostages.

After more than five months of war in Palestine, Luxembourg City saw another round of protests on Saturday. Between 200 and 300 protestors gathered in a demonstration organised by the Committee for Fair Peace in the Middle East (CPJPO). The protestors demand an immediate and sustainable ceasefire, an end to the Israeli occupation in Gaza and the West Bank, and the release of all hostages.

In another protest, around 20 people from the group 'Bring Them Home' gathered to stand in solidarity with the hostages, kidnapped and held against their will by Hamas. The group demands that the EU, the Luxembourgish government and the Israeli government increase pressure on Hamas to release the hostages unconditionally.
