The Ministry of Health has underscored non-compliance concerns regarding the use of a CT scanner and a mammography apparatus by a private radiology centre in Esch-sur-Alzette.
Discussions between the ministry and the private radiology centre had been ongoing prior to the recent development. Radio 100,7 first shed light on the ban imposed on "Hygie Imagerie" on Wednesday morning.

In response to enquiries, the Ministry informed our colleagues from RTL.lu that a decision had been reached to suspend all operations involving these devices. The radiology centre will also have to redirect patients who had previously scheduled appointments to the four main hospital centres, with prioritisation based on the urgency of their needs.
Additionally, the Ministry intends to ensure future compliance by the radiology centre with these regulations.
