The TGV service will operate from the Rodange and Belval-Université stations, both equipped with ample space and P+R facilities, boasting over 1,500 parking spaces each. This special route to the French capital will operate exclusively from 28 July to 11 August 2024.

This solution is the result of a collaborative effort between the National Company of the French Railways (SNCF) and CFL. The usual TGV route from the Grand Duchy through Thionville to Paris will be closed during the Olympic Games due to maintenance work.

One TGV train per day will travel from Luxembourg to Paris. Passengers using this alternate TGV line will need to allocate an additional 15 minutes for boarding at Belval and 45 minutes from Rodange. The Olympic Games venue is approximately a three-hour journey from Rodange. Additionally, there is a TGV service from Rodange to Montpellier via Strasbourg.

Tickets for this service can be reserved starting Wednesday through the CFL website or by phone.

Other TGV lines are available from Metz. During the Olympic Games, buses will shuttle passengers from Luxembourg City’s central railway station to Metz.
