In the last European elections, Luxembourg's Democratic Party led the polls, securing two of the six available seats, closely followed by the Christian Social People's Party (CSV), also earning two seats, while the Greens and the Luxembourg Socialist Workers' Party obtained the remaining two.

Luxembourg holds six seats in the European Parliament, currently occupied by representatives from four different parties.

In the last European elections, the Democratic Party (DP) secured the most votes with 21.4%, which equals two seats. The Christian Social People’s Party (CSV) trailed closely with 21.1%, also earning two seats. The Greens secured 18.9% of the vote, which gave the party one seat in the European Parliament. The Luxembourg Socialist Workers’ Party (LSAP) followed with 12.2%, securing the last available seat.

The Alternative Democratic Reform Party (ADR) obtained 10%, the Pirate Party 7.7%, and The Left 4.8%.

Charles Goerens (DP) received the most votes, a total of 97,584, making him the most successful candidate of the last elections. He was followed closely by Christophe Hansen (CSV) with 62,732 votes, and The Greens’ Tilly Metz with 55,465 votes. Other elected candidates included Monica Semedo (DP – 50,954), Isabel Wiseler-Santos Lima (CSV – 49,582), and Nicolas Schmit (LSAP – 39,152).
