The Water Management Agency's Flood Forecasting Service (SPC) remains on standby due to potential flood risks on Monday with increased and ongoing rainfall over the weekend and Monday.
Despite the recent increased rainfall, the rising water levels in Luxembourg are under control.
On Sunday evening, the SPC announced that they are entering a phase of vigilance due to potential risks of minor flooding, particularly in the South of the Grand-Duchy.
As of this morning, a slight exceedance of the early alert levels cannot be excluded at the gauges of the Alzette.
The Moselle is one metre above its normal water levels, but indicators suggest that there are no immediate or large risks of major flooding.
However, the stretch between Schengen and Haute-Kontz across the French border remains closed.
