A recent Luxair flight from Milan to Luxembourg was delayed for five hours due to a damaged door, resulting in 25 passengers being forced to disembark to comply with emergency exit regulations.

The plane was unable to depart on time as one of the doors was damaged when the stairs were being removed. As a consequence, around 25 passengers had to disembark because the maximum number of people per emergency exit had to be respected.

Luxair confirmed to RTL that the plane finally departed five hours later than scheduled. Typically, a flight from Milan to Luxembourg has a duration of approximately one hour.
