The cheese, sold at Match supermarkets over the past month, could potentially contain E.coli bacteria, according to a press release issued on Thursday.
The "Tomme Savoie Fermière IGP 29,1% MG" cheese, manufactured by Conus and sold between 20 October and 29 November, has been recalled by the Luxembourg Veterinary and Food Administration over fears it could contain Escherichia coli bacteria.
Customers are advised not to consume the product.
The authorities said the product had been sold in Match supermarkets, although it could not rule out sales in other stores.
