According to police information, two teenagers were mugged and threatened with a gun on Saturday at around 4 pm.

The victims were cornered by a group of ten in the Passage de l’academie on the university campus in Esch-Belval. They were forced to hand over any objects of value as well as their unlocked phones. Initial investigations suggest that the victims were threatened with a gun.

The perpetrators then fled towards the Ibis Hotel where they got into two cars and fled towards the Porte de France. The police are currently carrying out an investigation into the case.

Furthermore, the police report break-ins in Canach, Niederanven, Leudelange and Dudelange.

In Fentange, a garage door was forced open. A thief stole a wallet containing credit cards and an ID out of a car.

In Neudorf-Weimeschkirch an unknown individual broke into a few cellars.
