On early Wednesday morning, the police pursued a motorist through the streets of Differdange at high speed.
The driver caught the attention of the police due to their reckless driving.
According to official reports, the motorist failed to comply with officers' instructions to pull over, instead choosing to accelerate, initiating a pursuit. The ensuing chase finally concluded on Rue de Hussigny, where the police managed to apprehend the individual.
The driver was asked to take a breathalyser test, which came back positive, leading to the immediate suspension of the driver's licence. The incident occurred at around 3.15am.
Wrong-way driver near Luxembourg City's central railway station
In a separate incident, another motorist in the Gare neighbourhood of Luxembourg City was apprehended by the police for driving in the wrong lane. This incident took place on Wednesday at around 6am.
Following the traffic violation, the officers administered a breathalyser test, confirming a positive result. Subsequently, the motorist's driving licence was temporarily revoked.
