A number of break-ins took place on Wednesday, according to the Grand Ducal police.

Burglars targeted a block of flats on Rue Evy Friedrich, Gasperich, on Wednesday. The perpetrators broke open two basement doors to gain access, stealing a bike and an electric scooter in the process.

On Wednesday evening, an unknown individual attempted to break into a family home on Rue d'Orange in Belair. The suspect entered the residence through a terrace door and searched several rooms before fleeing the premises.

Police have launched investigations into both incidents, and have issued reminders to citizens to exercise caution and follow police guidelines on their website to protect against burglaries.
