These price increases directly correlate with the recent uptick in global oil prices.

As of Wednesday, 13 September, the price of unleaded 95 will experience a notable increase of 3.4 cents, reaching €1.678 per litre. This represents a substantial increase but keeps petrol prices below the current diesel rates.

Similarly, unleaded 98 is not immune to the price surge, climbing from €1.896 to €1.926, translating to a three-cent price hike.

For those relying on a 50-litre tank to refuel their vehicles, the cost breakdown at Luxembourg service stations starting this Wednesday is as follows:

  • Diesel: €85.20
  • Unleaded 95: €83.90
  • Unleaded 98: €96.30
