As of this Friday, Luxembourg's new cannabis law has officially taken effect, following its publication in the 'Official Journal,' the country's gazette, on Monday.
The updated legislation permits adults to cultivate up to four cannabis plants per household for personal use. In addition, penalties for cannabis possession have been eased, and private consumption is now allowed.
In a subsequent phase, users will be able to purchase cannabis legally, as the country progresses with its cannabis reform measures.
