A video making the rounds on social media captured the moments following a collision between two cars and a "Dingo" armoured military vehicle belonging to the Luxembourg army on Wednesday afternoon.
The clip, posted on TikTok, depicts all three vehicles at a standstill at a crossroads between Hosingen and Marnach. One car is shown with extensive damage to the front and back after hitting the armoured vehicle in a head-on collision, while the second car appears to have crashed into the back of the first.
The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps said no one had been injured in the crash, which took place just before 3.00pm.
Elsewhere, the CGDIS reports, a car struck a tree between Bissen and Boevange-sur-Attert shortly after 1.00pm, leaving one person injured.
A pedestrian suffered injuries after being hit by a car at the crossroads between Rue des Aubepines and Route de Longwy in the capital.
Fire fighters intervened in several incidents on Wednesday afternoon, as bark chippings caught fire in the capital on Rue Dicks and on Rue Leon Hengen, while small fires were reported in Remerschen, Eppeldorf, Niederfeulen and on N28 between Bous and Oetrange.
