Four fire stations were called upon overnight from Sunday to Monday in Esch to combat a residential fire.
At 10.29 pm in Esch-sur-Alzette, Boulevard Kennedy was filled with firefighters who had rushed from Sanem, Differdange, Kayl, and Dudelange. Theresponders were deployed after receiving reports of significant smoke billowing from a residence on the Boulevard. Two ambulances were also dispatched, along with firefighters from the local municipality.
At this stage, all we know is that many firefighters were involved in this operation, and one person was injured. Emergency services number 112 hasn't provided much more detail, but it seems that the response went well, considering the limited number of casualties. We do not have any information regarding potential relocation of residents by the municipality. Further details are expected throughout the day.
