
The airline said in a press release that it will continue to work closely with AET to establish the cause of Sunday’s dramatic emergency landing, which closed Findel runway for much of the evening. It added that more information concerning the circumstances will be communicated once it is available.
Cargolux said it would like to express its sincere thanks and appreciation to the CGDIS emergency services, luxAirport, LuxairCargo, other relevant authorities, and its employees who all assisted in ensuring that the aircraft could be towed off the runway in the shortest possible time. The airline said it is grateful for their swift and professional response to the incident.
