In a statement released on Tuesday, the Luxembourg Red Cross expressed its gratitude towards its donors. In just a few days, the organisation received donations totaling over €1 million, which made it possible to send 500 insulated and heated family tents, 4,000 insulating mattresses, and 2,500 blankets by air into the affected regions on 10 February.
To ensure the most effective assistance on the ground, the Luxembourgish teams collaborated closely with the German Red Cross.
