As work continues on the construction of the tram bridge over the A1, there will be partial road closures from Friday to Monday.
A1 and A7 closures
The Roads and Bridges Administration will partially close the Grünewald junction at the request of Luxtram from 10pm on Friday 5 May until 4am on Monday 8 May.
Both the A1 and A7 slip roads from Luxembourg City towards Kirchberg will be closed. Traffic will be deviated from the Grünewald via the A1 towards Luxembourg, via the Hamm/Sandweiler exit at the Iergäertchen roundabout, before rejoining the A1 towards Trier and the Kirchberg exit.
The first part of the construction site concluded last weekend alongside the A1.

Traffic coming from the A3 motorway towards Luxembourg City will be diverted from the Hesperange interchange via the CR231 (Boulevard FW Raiffeisen) and Boulevard de Kockelscheuer.
