According to the police, the 27-year-old was the victim of an accident that occurred in the middle of the night, around 3:30 am, on a dirt road. The pedestrian was already dead when the emergency services arrived, dispatched from Redange, Ettelbruck, and Ell.
Police experts have been tasked with determining the exact circumstances of the accident, which involved a car. An investigation is underway and an autopsy of the victim will be carried out.
