The following surface waters will be open for swimming during the 2023 bathing season until 30 September, according to the government. The areas concerned are detailed below:

  • The 2 lakes of Weiswampach (upper lake and lower lake) in the municipality of Weiswampach;
  • The Upper-Sûre lake in the bordering municipalities of Boulaide, Esch-sur-Sûre, and Lake Haute-Sûre;
  • The Remerschen pond (pond reserved for swimming) in the municipality of Schengen;
  • The Echternach lake, a designated swimming area (Adventure Island), in the municipality of Echternach (scheduled to open on May 26, 2023).
