Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air will operate direct flights between Luxembourg and Bucharest from June onwards, as well as to Skopje in November.
There will be two flights a week to the Romanian capital, and three flights per week to the capital of North Macedonia.

At the moment the airline already flies to Skopje from nearby airports Frankfurt Hahn and Brussels Charleroi, and to Bucharest from Charleroi only.
Wizzair also added Ljubljana, Stuttgart and Salzburg to its direct destination list from Skopje, with budget carrier receiving subsidies for operating the routes for at least three years.
Flights from Bucharest to Luxembourg depart at 12.10pm on Wednesdays and 7.10am on Sundays.
