As of Tuesday, ten new public petitions are ready to be signed online. If a proposal crosses the threshold of 4,500 signatures, then it will have to be debated in the Chamber of Deputies.

Among the new proposals is a petition that argues for bicycles to be banned from country roads in an effort to "reduce accidents" and "improve traffic flow during the start and end of work hours".

Another petition is against the "financing and sending of arms and military equipment to Ukraine", proposing to focus on diplomatic solutions instead.

There is also a petition advocating for at least one cash machine to be installed in each municipality. These should be accessible 24/7 and also have the option of accepting cash deposits.

Another petitioner argues that foods containing processed insects need to clearly state so on the front of their packaging.

The deadline for the petitions is 24 April. The list of proposals can be found on the Chamber's petition website.
