As we head into the afternoon and evening, light rain or snow showers are possible under an overcast sky.
Overnight, and particularly in the north of the country, we can expect light snowfall. In the south, this is more likely to fall as sleet.
Morning temperatures start off just below freezing point, before rising to a high of 5°C in the afternoon, and falling back to 0-2°C come evening.
