
This is an increase of 24 basis points compared to October (2.26%). In November 2021, the rate was 1.3%. Banks granted a total of €287 million in variable rate loans in November, down €99 million from the previous month, according to the Luxembourg Central Bank (BCL)
The fixed rate is also on the rise. After exceeding 3%, it was estimated at 3.33% for the month of November. This represents a significant increase compared to the 1.42% still available at the beginning of 2022. Banks issued a total of €269 million in fixed rate loans in November, which is €47 million less than in October.
