The centre's heating system shut down as a result of the recent cold snap.

According to a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the people who were housed in the centre will be transferred to other locations managed by the National Reception Office (ONA).

New arrivals, however, "will continue to be accommodated at the Tony Rollman Reception Centre, where they will receive appropriate care from the management teams," according to the statement.
