Work to install the three speed cameras began several months ago in the Stafelter, Gousselerbierg, and Grouft tunnels, where the speed limit is 90 km/h.
They were supposed to come into operation later this year. But Minister for Mobility François Bausch told RTL that the timetable would not be respected and that the test phase would begin at the end of this year or early next year at the earliest.
The first fines will thus only be issued in spring 2023.
