Dirk Daenen, curator and organizer for TedX visited RTL Today Radio to speak with Melissa Dalton about the TEDxEducation event and accompanying competition, created especially for students!

Dirk explains how TEDxEducation event aims to further the conversation about education in Luxembourg and education in general, in all its forms and shapes. The event will take place on Wednesday 29 June, tickets are free and available here.

In the spirit of the event, Dirk created a competition exclusively open to students aged 12 to 18. The only entry criteria is that you attend school in Luxembourg!  Your idea or design can be anything you want ranging from arts to engineering. If you're better than anyone else you'll win the competition, no matter what discipline you choose!

You can submit your idea or design here!

The winner will get to do their very own Ted Talk, which will be published on TED.com! The deadline has been extended to 12 June, so hurry up!

You can listen to the full interview below and make sure to tune into The Home Stretch with Melissa Dalton every week day from 4-7pm on RTL Today Radio!
