A garden shed caught fire in Esch-sur-Alzette at lunchtime on Friday, resulting in large amounts of smoke in the area. A text message was sent to residents to warn them of the smoke and to advise them to keep windows and doors closed as a result.
The fire has since been extinguished and did not spread to other buildings.
RTL sources said the shed contained two gas bottles. It is not confirmed whether these survived the fire.
