For the first time since 2019, parents and relatives were welcome again to celebrate the graduation of their loved ones on site.
The graduation took place on Wednesday 25 May, at the Grand Theatre de la Ville de Luxembourg. In his opening speech, Director David J. Condon highlighted the importance of intercultural understanding and respect and reminded students that the purpose of their International Baccalaureate (IB) education is to change the world, as opposed to simply getting into a good college.
He furthermore pointed out that we are living in an increaslingly polarised society and that the graduates "have given us adults ample reason for optimism and confidence in the future". He ended his speech by wishing the graduates all the best.
