At last night's ING Night Marathon in the capital, emergency service teams had to treat 68 patients, including one who was severely injured.

200 firefighters and emergency responders were on duty at yesterday's ING marathon in Luxembourg City.

Between 2.30pm and 1am, they helped ensure the safety of the race and treated a total of 68 patients, including one who was severely injured. 56 of the patients were participants of the race.

Emergency services were also active in other parts of the Grand Duchy last night. At 3.50am, an accident occurred in Hollerich. A car crashed into a bus on Boulevard Pierre Dupong, leaving one person injured.
