For the third time in a row, St George's International School received an 'excellent' rating from the International Schools Inspectorate (ISI).
The ISI visit, postponed from 2021 due to Covid restrictions, found the quality of student learning and achievement, as well as personal development, to be 'excellent'.
The ISI is a voluntary inspectorate regime approved by the UK's Department for Education to inspect British Schools Overseas.
The ISI confirmed that St George's met all the required standards for British Schools Overseas, including the quality of education as well as welfare and moral, social and cultural development.
St George’s Principal, Dr Christian Barkei, said: “The ISI report’s ‘excellent’ rating genuinely reflects the hard work, effort and enthusiasm shown by all students and staff, and is something the entire school community should be exceptionally proud of. We’re delighted that the inspection team was able to witness what we see every day at school.”
St George's describes itself as "an inclusive, vibrant international community', educating 875 students from over 60 different nationalities.
