Starting next school year, five new specialisations and training programs will be offered in secondary education.
Classical lycées will add two new specialisations. A new section N, focused on finance, entrepreneurship and marketing, will be offered at the ECG from this September. Meanwhile, the A languages section will have an option to include Luxembourgish.
Four new specialisations will be added in vocational training:
- a trade diploma in "electro-technologies", focusing on renewable energies and electromobility.
- a trade diploma in education, for working at crèches and Maisons Relais
- a technician diploma in tourism and communication
- a technician diploma in gardening and landscaping
Over 180 different training options are currently being offered in the Grand Duchy. These are constantly adapted to meet the needs of the labour market, the statement from the Ministry says.
