Just like with the first two doses, the Prime Minister also posted a picture of himself getting inoculated. Bettel was first vaccinated with AstraZeneca in May last year, but contracted the coronavirus while waiting for the second dose in June.
Bettel only had light symptoms at the beginning, but had to isolate nevertheless. Shortly thereafter, the Prime Minister was hospitalised for four days as his state was judged to be “serious”.
However, he did recover from the virus and finally also received his second jab in August last year.
