The new wind turbines will replace 13 of their first generation predecessors installed in northern Luxembourg.

The new turbines aim to produce more electricity while preserving the landscape as much as possible. Six new wind turbines will replace 13 old ones, with the total cost expected to reach around 30 million euros. Installation work began in the Esch-sur-Sûre park in July and is due to be completed in the first quarter of 2022 in Heinerscheid.
