First the technical agricultural college (Ackerbauschoul) moved to a new location in Gilsdorf. Now, the National School for Adults, formerly known as the “Second Chance School”, will bid farewell to its Hollerich campus in favour of the Forum Geesseknäppchen, where it will reside for a provisional period of eight to ten years. By that point, it is expected to move to a new purpose-built location in Kirchberg.
Around 500 students and 90 members of teaching staff will be transferred to Merl. The school’s classrooms have been emptied and packed up ahead of the move, with work beginning at the end of the summer term, said Jos Bertemes, ENAD director, in an interview with RTL.
