According to reports from Albanian media, Iamandi is alleged to have shot and injured two men in the Albanian capital Tirana last weekend.
The newspaper Luxemburger Wort recently reported that Iamandi was thought to be safe in Albania, despite the international arrest warrant. However, following last weekend’s incident, the Albanian police is almost certain to pick up the pursuit of the fugitive.
On 24 November 2020, Aldo Iamandi shot a man in Remich with a pistol, leaving the latter seriously injured. According to a Europol update, he then used a Mercedes to escape to Belgium and has since arrived in Albania.

In addition, Iamandi is wanted for illegal trade of weapons, ammunition, and explosives.
